Healthy Talks for Young Adults
This important live event series is aimed at young adults of all ages, from late teens to those in their thirties, or even beyond. We'll explore many topics related to healthy relationships, gender dynamics, dating violence and more. Each month will feature a new and engaging speaker with a topic geared toward our audience. These talks will be held on our Facebook Live and can be viewed in real time, or any time after that best suits your schedule. With this series, we're reaching youth all over. We're sharing knowledge and encouraging discussions surrounding relationships, love, sex, and how to watch out for signs of abuse or assault as well as how to seek help. We'd love for you to join us.
Some ways to incorporate this series are:
- Show the talks in your university or college class or club (i.e. Social Justice Club)
- Start a school club where you can screen the talks
- Set up a time to show the talks to youth at your organization or centre
- Use these as a teaching tool for youth, in any capacity
The talks will be held live on the first Wednesday of each month during the day time hours between 10-3 and we will share the talk information ahead of time. Join our Facebook page so you can keep up to date.
